LERA SA was established in 2009 through some hard work and dedication from Dirk Swanepoel (our first chairman) and Andre Fouche, our current vice-chairman. The Association started quite modestly with a few Enfield enthusiasts and later grew into a fully fletched interest group. Many of our members are collectors of Enfield and other military rifles and we have associations with other clubs and organisations worldwide who share our passion for Enfield rifles.
